The Laboratory for Computational Biology & Biomolecular Design (LCBD) at School of Biochemical Engineering, at Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi focuses on interdisciplinary research at the interface of computation and biomolecular science, with core strengths in computational protein and enzyme design, protein engineering, large-scale mutational analysis, health informatics and therapeutics development, and computational tools and pipeline development.

Our research is driven by two complementary directions: fundamental and translational studies aimed at understanding and engineering biomolecular systems, and the development of scalable, robust methods and computational frameworks to accelerate biomolecular research and therapeutic discovery.​
